TNT 2025 is over. Our undying creativity was consumed by the fires of literary passion — the time spent connecting at kickoff, or chatting on Discord, or writing like mad demons at DOKN. We have lit the fuse; the TNT demolished the imposter syndrome and writers blocks, freeing our newly revitalized creativity to flourish again.
Or, I guess, something like that?
Now that TNT is over, let’s wrap things up for the program year.
Survey
We invite you to participate in our end-of-year survey — your responses are de-identified, so we won’t know who you are. This year’s survey assesses your experience with TNT 2025 and offers thoughts on programming for 2026 and beyond.
Winter Writers’ Conference
The Winter Writers’ Conference draws ever closer! This year’s theme is self-editing. We’ll meet at Jason’s Books and Coffee on Saturday, January 17, from 9a to 3p.
The first session covers self-edit blindness and how to see what your brain doesn’t want you to see about your own writing. The second session dives into worksheets that chunk self-editing into bite-sized pieces for structure and line quality. Then, you’ll self-edit a chapter you bring to the workshop, before the rest of the group reviews your edits to offer feedback on how to improve your aim.
Coffee/pastries in the morning and pizza for lunch is provided.
Registration is required. No cost to attend, although donations are welcome, as per usual.
TGIO Sweater Party
Because of the complexity of the programming schedule at Bluestocking Bookshop, the TGIO party has been canceled. No place on the calendar to reschedule it! We apologize for the inconvenience. But, yay snow?
MonsterQuest
We’re quantifying the points still. We’ll share a post in the future that shows each person who landed in one of the gold/silver/bronze tiers. But congrats to all who participated!
Swag
We had numerous behind-the-scenes challenges (some Jason’s fault, some not) in getting the updated inventory in the shopping cart. To those who had been promised free T-shirts, you will not be forgotten. We will either do a limited run of the “Undying Creativity” theme or refresh the entire catalog and extend discount codes for the equivalent value. We’ll know more by the writers’ conference.
