Another year, another novel to write. Yay!

That November Thing returns with a bang. Join us for kickoff at an all-new location: Celebration Cinema North. We’ll meet on Sunday, October 25, from 1p to 3p. Theater concessions are available (no purchase necessary, though) or pre-packaged snacks. There’s no cost to attend kickoff.

The Day of Knockout Noveling will run Saturday, November 21 from 11a to 6p at Jason’s Books and Coffee in Wyoming. Some details:

• You are free to come and go at your pleasure. Please do NOT arrive early — although the bookstore will open at 9a, DOKN attendees will not be admitted until 11a, and there are no exceptions. Note that 11a does not mean 10:59a.
• It’s a potluck! Bring something to pass, if you wish. No obligation to do so. Please ensure that what you bring is ready to eat; we cannot allow on-site food prep. We do have a few plugs available for crock pots and the like, however.

If you’d like to host a write-in this year, head to our Discord server and check out the Announcements channel for a link to a form. So far, we’ve got two virtual write-ins on the books (for Saturday afternoon and Monday evening) and perhaps one or two in-person write-ins TBD.

The Young Authors Guild returns for Sundays in November. More info will come out soon! This program is hosted by Allison Hawkins and Andrew Ronzino.

Please check the Discord server for various threads, including relating to ride shares.

More info will come soon, including the final write-in and activity schedule. Until then: Prep hard, for November is a mere 13 days away. Bwahaha!
