TNT ’26 Event Schedule – West Michigan Author Alliance

With kickoff now behind us, let’s look forward to our November and December writing adventures.

Big Events

Day of Knockout Noveling
- Saturday, Nov. 21, from 11a to 6p at Jason’s Books & Coffee, 1590 44th St SW, Wyoming.
- Plenty of parking out front.
- Please do not arrive early. Otherwise — come and go as you wish!
- It’s a potluck, so feel free to bring a dish to pass. We have a small number of outlets available for warmers like crock pots. Please do not expect to prepare your food or beverages on-site, and please bring your own serving utensils.
Writer Christmas Party
- Friday, Dec. 11, from 6:30p to 8:30p at Jason’s Books and Coffee.
- This is an “all writer” event, not just for WMAA but also for the Writing Tribe, the bookstore’s book club, and other friendly clusters of authors.
- Feel free to bring a dessert to pass, if you wish.
- No cost or RSVP required. Please do not arrive early.

Write-Ins

Sunday: Virtual with Bob (rckthewriter), 7p to 9p (Discord); Young Authors Guild with Allison (kiralyno) and Andrew (kinggramjohnson). Contact them directly for YAG info, or reach out to a Weasel Wrangler for more info.
Monday: In-person with Jason (jegillikin), 6p to 8p at the Panera Bread in Grandville, in the upper level.
Friday: Community Virtual with Kess (kessalia), in the evening (Discord).
Saturday: Virtual with Ally (hufflepuffwrites), 3p to 5p (Discord).

Other In-Person Writing Opportunities

On Wednesdays and Fridays, Jason’s Books & Coffee is open 1p to 9p. Writers are welcome to drop in at any time. No RSVP required and no purchase necessary.
On Thursdays, Jasons’s Books & Coffee hosts “silent writing time.” It runs year-round from 4p to 7p in the conference room, while karate is happening up front. The only caveats are that the “silent” part is enforced, and you have to be OK with cats because Theon and Kali will be trying to convince you that they are underfed and deprived of attention. (Both claims are lies, by the way.) Silent Writing does not occur on Thanksgiving Day.
